Keysight Technologies, NTT, and NTT Innovative Devices have set a new world record by demonstrating 280 Gbps wireless data transmission in the WR-3.4 band (220–330 GHz). This milestone showcases the potential of ultra-high-speed wireless backhaul as a complement to fiber. 

To generate and analyze signals, they used Keysight's Vector Component Analyzer which integrates VDI Frequency Extension Modules with Keysight's PNA-X and AWG products. 

The breakthrough combined NTT’s high-power InP amplifier technology with Keysight’s advanced test solutions, enabling record performance and signal fidelity at very high frequencies. This achievement shows how sub-THz innovations are bringing next-generation connectivity closer to reality.
