The displayed noise is lower in the PM5 compared to previous power meters which allows more sensitive measurements. The figure below shows measurements of a 200nW square wave simultaneously measured on a PM4 and a PM5, both on the 2 mW scale. The square wave is clearly visible with the improved noise floor of the PM5.
